The Legacy 550 is a fully thermally-broken aluminum pivot door with a striking, unconventional design intended as an architectural statement entry. Its pivot hardware carries the door weight on the lower arm to reduce frame stress and deliver smooth, effortless motion, with the pivot hinge concealed inside the door panel for easy assembly and efficient field installation. Built on a 4-1/2" frame with a 4-3/4" frame view, it is designed for 1" insulated glass and offered with nail-fin or block frames, a ladder-style pull, and a latch lock. As a Legacy thermal product it is non-missile / non-impact rather than hurricane-rated.
