No, the 380 Standard is a non-impact aluminum slider and is not impact rated by itself. It is HVHZ-eligible when paired with hurricane protection shutters, which satisfies the opening-protection requirement in Wind-borne Debris Region counties using a shutter rather than laminated glass. If you want a door that carries impact protection on its own, we install CWS's Hurricane Guard impact sliders instead and will confirm the right product for your jurisdiction at quote.
The 380 Standard comes in a White (standard) or Bronze frame finish. Glass options include Low-E 270 (standard), Low-E 366, tempered glass, bronze-tinted, and gray-tinted, and hardware is stainless steel in either White or Black. It comes with a flat screen as standard, and we'll help you match the finish and glass to your home when we quote.
Installed price depends on whether you choose a 2-, 3-, or 4-panel layout, the overall size, the glass package, and the condition of the existing opening, so we don't quote a flat price. No. Fortify is aluminum non-impact, engineered for coastal addresses that need high design-pressure performance and corrosion resistance but where the code does not actually require impact glass. It is the step between Comfort Shield vinyl non-impact and the impact Hurricane Guard line. If your opening must carry impact glazing on its own, we'd move you to Hurricane Guard instead.
Only in a limited way. The 380 sliding glass door is HVHZ-eligible when it is paired with hurricane shutters, which satisfy the opening-protection requirement in place of impact glass. The Fortify windows are not HVHZ products. So in Miami-Dade or Broward, Fortify only works on a shuttered door application, and we confirm that path before specifying it.
