The PW7720A runs from a minimum of 14.5 by 14.5 inches up to a maximum of 42 square feet of glass area, which is larger than the 32-square-foot maximum on the companion PW740A. At those sizes it carries a design pressure of up to +90/-130 psf for high-wind coastal exposures. We size each unit to your opening and verify the rating before ordering.
The PW7720A uses a 1-inch laminated insulating glass unit and offers Energy Shield, Energy Shield Max, and SolarControl LowE2 packages, with optional argon fill. U-factors range from about 0.39 to 0.47 and SHGC from 0.21 to 0.36 depending on the package and grids, which makes it one of the more energy-efficient picture options in the aluminum line. For South Florida heat, we usually recommend the argon Energy Shield Max or SolarControl LowE2 for the lowest solar heat gain.
The PW7720A comes in White as standard, plus Bronze, Black, and Clear Anodized aluminum frame finishes. Grid options include a 1-inch raised/flat profile or a 9/16-inch flat grid-between-the-glass style if you want a divided-lite look.
