CWS Hurricane Guard PVC Swing Door CWS-8701
CWS's flagship impact line covering aluminum and vinyl windows plus impact sliding doors.
Heritage PVC swing door in Hurricane Guard, pitched for HVHZ-compatible residential entrance applications. LMI impact for Florida coastal installations.
NFRC Certified
Impact protection, built for South Florida
The CWS-8701 is Hurricane Guard's PVC swing door, a hinged entrance unit for residential openings that want a single swinging door rather than a slider or a French pair. It is LMI impact-rated for Florida coastal installations, so it brings storm protection to the entrance without a separate storm door over it. The PVC frame suits the climate, holding up against salt air and humidity without the maintenance a wood door would ask for.
Armor Pro specs the CWS-8701 on entrance openings in a CWS project where the door should swing and match the impact rating of the windows around it. For a wide patio that wants a hinged pair, the Hurricane Guard French doors cover it; for a sliding patio opening, the CWS-7900. The 8701 is the single-leaf impact entrance in the line.
