Yes. The CWS-640D carries Florida Product Approval FL14851.R6 even though it is a non-impact door, so it is a code-approved product for the jurisdictions where it is permitted. A Florida Product Approval is not the same as a Miami-Dade NOA, and this door is not intended for HVHZ openings. We confirm the approval that applies to your address at the time of quote.

As a French-door configuration, the CWS-640D can be built from about 47.5 by 79.5 inches up to 77 by 96 inches per the approved door range, and the overall system supports widths up to roughly 151.375 inches and heights up to 97 inches. It is approved in an OX configuration. We size the door to your opening and confirm the design pressure at quote.

The CWS-640D French door carries a design pressure of +60/-60 psf in its approved configuration. Keep in mind this is a non-impact door, so the design pressure reflects structural performance, not impact protection. The vinyl Hurricane Guard products carry Florida statewide approvals with more limited HVHZ coverage. Aluminum carries the higher design pressures and the full HVHZ approval set, so it's the choice where the span, the pressure, or the HVHZ code demands it.
