No, the HR5410 is a non-impact window, so it is not approved for the High-Velocity Hurricane Zone and we don't install it as storm protection there. It does carry Miami-Dade NOA 25-0801.04 (valid through September 24, 2030) covering its tested wind pressures and anchoring, but that does not make it impact-rated. If you need an impact horizontal roller, we install the WinGuard HR5510 counterpart and will confirm the right product for your address.
The HR5410 comes as a 2-lite XO/OX up to 75 by 72 inches, a 3-lite XOX in a 1/4-1/2-1/4 layout up to 120 inches wide by 63 inches tall, and a 3-lite XOX in an even 1/3-1/3-1/3 layout up to 92 by 63 inches. The HR5410 ranges from a U-factor of 0.29 to 0.33 with an SHGC of 0.18 to 0.30 depending on the glass package. Its best option is the Argon/Energy Shield Max package at U-factor 0.29 with SHGC as low as 0.18 for strong solar-heat control. We'll match the glass package to your sun exposure and energy goals when we quote.
The HR5410 comes standard in White, Beige, Bronze, and Black, plus two-tone Bronze-exterior/White-interior and Black-exterior/White-interior. It includes a sweep latch and vent latch standard, with an optional vent limiter, and grids are available in 7/8-inch Traditional Simulated Divided Lite or 9/16-inch, 13/16-inch, or 1-inch between the glass. It belongs on inland Florida addresses where the building code does not require laminated impact glazing. If you're inside the HVHZ or you want storm protection regardless of jurisdiction, the impact counterpart is WinGuard Vinyl, which uses the same frame.
