No. Aria is CWS's entry-tier non-impact vinyl line, rated to roughly 50 psf design pressure with no impact rating and no HVHZ approval. It is a price-floor product for inland replacement work where budget is the priority and the code does not require impact glass. For any coastal exposure we'd spec an impact line such as StormStrong or Hurricane Guard.
On the CWS catalog the only Aria product built out for the public is the picture (fixed) window, which is designed to mull and match with an Aria single-hung where one is available through the dealer catalog. In practice Aria is a thin, vestigial line. If you want a fuller non-impact vinyl range, Comfort Shield covers single-hung, double-hung, casement, awning, slider, picture, and a patio door.
Both are non-impact vinyl, but Comfort Shield is the broader, better-documented line with more styles, finishes, and energy options. We'd only look at Aria for a strictly budget-driven inland replacement where a basic fixed picture window is all that's needed. For most inland projects we steer toward Comfort Shield, and we'll be candid about the tradeoff during the consultation.
Aria offers a multichambered vinyl frame with Low-E glass options, so it can be configured for reasonable inland energy performance. What it does not offer is any storm rating, so the energy choice is separate from impact protection here. We confirm the available glass and grille options against current CWS availability when we quote it.
